Mapping Workshop was held in İstanbul!

Within the scope of the “Technical Assistance for Strengthening the Capacity of the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Services for Public-CSO Cooperation”, under the Mapping study, 600 interviews were conducted in 20 cities and a report was written for each city in accordance with the mapping technique with the data obtained from these interviews. In addition, a Comprehensive Mapping Study Report was prepared as a general summary at the end of the study.

With the participation of the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services staff from the general directorates of Ankara and province level, mapping workshop was held in Istanbul on 16-17 January 2020. The aim of the workshop was; to share the main results of the mapping studies by analysing jointly the ‘Comprehensive Mapping Report’ and to have an overview about the lessons learned and future steps relevant for strengthening the cooperation with CSOs.

Within the scope of the workshop, in addition to sharing the results of the study, the participants worked in groups on, recognizing the importance of inclusion and collaboration with CSOs, what issues should be developed in the public and in the CSOs in order to strengthen the public – CSO cooperation.
