Within the scope of the Mapping Studies to be carried out in 10 target provinces and 10 neighboring provinces, one-to-one interviews and focus group works began simultaneously in Istanbul and Izmir with representatives of CSOs .
The first step of the mapping studies, “internet survey” was published on the website in July 2018 with an “open call” method and the CSOs were invited to fill the questionnaire. More than 400 CSOs have participated to the survey and accepted to participate in the interviews.
It is planned that, at least 400 CSO’s operating in other areas where the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services provides services to children, people with disabilities, elderly people, poor people, relatives of martyrs and veterans, Roma people, migrants and temporary protection will be interviewed in 20 provinces. The results of this study; will enable the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services to familiarize themselves with the civil society organizations operating in the social areas, their duties and policy-making capacities, and will have a significant impact on the design of the trainings to be made within the scope of the project.
Mapping Study will be concluded with two surveys, one for CSOs and the other for local public institutions. 20 Mapping Study Report will be published at the end of November 2018.
