Technical Assistance for Strengthening the Capacity of the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Services for Public-CSO Cooperation is being implemented by the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Services and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Directorate for EU Affairs with the co-financing of the European Union and the Republic of Turkey. Central Financial Coordination Unit (CFCU) of Ministry of Treasury and Finance is the Contracting Authority of the project.
The project aims to contribute to support the development of civil society through more active democratic participation in policy and decision-making processes and by promoting a culture of fundamental rights and dialogue. The purpose is as to strengthen cooperation between public sector and CSOs in general and between MoFLSS and CSOs involved in social policy sphere in particular.
The project is initiated under “Democracy and Governance” sector, within the scope of IPA II covering the period 2014-20, where the Civil Society is defined as a sub-sector.
The project will be implemented in 10 pilot and their neighborhood provinces;
